I am watching the Big in '06 Awards. That's the first problem, that this awards show even exists and that there's nothing else on to watch. Who the hell cares who had a good year in 2006? They gave an honor to Brittany Spears for being a "Big Momma" and having two kids in 17 months. I had a huge year in 2006 and I am certainly not the proud owner of any new trophies.
They give this one award for the biggest comeback. It was presented by Joey Lawrence and Mario Lopez who I guess are considered to have had comebacks because they lost to Emmett Smith on "Dancing with the Stars". The nominees were The New Orleans Saints, Rosie O'Donnell, Al Gore, Howie Mandell, and David Hasselhoff. If I had to pick from this montley crew I would go with the Saints. Their big comeback in the Superdome was a huge step for the city of New Orleans to recover from the hurricane. But, David Hasselhoff won the award. Who voted for these things? What the hell? I didn't know that appearing in an Adam Sandler movie (Click), being a judge in a reality show no one has ever seen (I don't know what it's called), and having
this video on You Tube was considered a comeback. It pretty much fills me with a rage previously unknown to man.
I guess people voted for him because they know not to Hassle the Hoff. But seriously, what is wrong with people????
